Job Description
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements to align with business objectives and legal standards.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
- Manage litigation processes and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Support corporate governance activities, including board meetings and shareholder relations.
- Provide guidance on intellectual property, employment law, and other legal matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement risk management policies.
- Deliver legal training to employees to promote compliance and awareness.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all legal matters.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on strategic legal issues.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
- 10+ years of management experience in corporate legal advisory or in-house counsel roles.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
