Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Product — a hands-on product leader who owns strategy and goes deep into the craft: defining policies, designing flows, and driving detailed specs down to the screen level. You will own the end-to-end customer experience of BankX — from onboarding to deposits, lending, payments, and customer service — reporting directly to the CXO and leading the product team.

Responsibilities

  • Product & CX strategy: Define BankX's product vision and CX principles, and ensure consistency across all domains (Onboarding, Deposit, Lending, Payment, etc.)
  • Detailed planning: Own user journeys, IA, screen specs, and PRDs — including policies, edge cases, and regulatory requirements (BOT, PDPA)
  • Team leadership: Build, lead, and grow the product team; hire, coach, and establish planning standards and rituals
  • Cross-functional execution: Serve as the hub across Design, Engineering, QA, Marketing, CS, Risk, and Compliance to deliver launch-ready products and continuously improve post-launch
  • Global perspective, local execution: Leverage insights from leading digital banks, including partners KakaoBank and WeBank, while designing for Thai customers

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in product management or service planning, including 3+ years of people management (hiring, coaching, team building)
  • 3+ years in financial services (banking, securities, lending, insurance, payments, or other regulated industries)
  • Proven 0-to-1 product launch experience, with the ability to produce detailed artifacts (screen specs, IA, flow charts, policy docs)
  • Technical literacy to discuss APIs, data models, and trade-offs with engineering teams
  • Good in English communications
  • Portfolio required (planning artifacts, decision rationale, outcomes)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Banking industry experience
  • Familiarity with Thai financial regulations (BOT, PDPA)
  • Experience with core banking systems, KYC/eKYC, or payment infrastructure
  • Data analytics tools (SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau)
