- Lead end-to-end retail/FMCG system implementations, managing key workstreams and senior stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into solutions across retail and inventory category systems.
- Drive workshops, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Oversee integration, data migration, UAT, and go-live support.
- Advise on core retail operations (merchandising, inventory, pricing, promotions).
- Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor team members.
A Successful Head Of Project Management (Retail) Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience implementing or supporting retail ERP or retail system solutions.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and business processes (merchandising, inventory, store management, pricing, replenishment).
- Solid functional and technical understanding of retail and inventory category systems.
- Experience delivering projects in Agile or Waterfall environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to design, configure, and test complex retail solutions independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to other sites as required.
