About DBot

We're a German-owned enterprise software development company headquartered in Bangkok, with a focus on innovative AI solutions and ecommerce. Why this role exists

We're growing, more SME and enterprise clients, larger projects, and expanding into AI-powered solutions. This is not a traditional sales role. You are here to build and own the commercial engine of DBot Software.

You will own pipeline generation, outbound strategy, and the full commercial cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to signed contracts and clean onboarding into delivery. This is a first commercial leadership hire. You will work directly with the CEO to shape pricing, positioning, and go-to-market execution as DBot scales.

What you'll actually do

  • Own lead generation and pipeline growth across outbound, partnerships, referrals, and existing channels. Building predictable opportunity flow instead of relying on founder-driven sales.
  • Develop and execute outbound strategies targeting enterprise buyers in the DACH region and Asia-Pacific, companies that need serious AI solutions and commerce infrastructure, not a Shopify theme.
  • Own the entire sales process end-to-end: qualification, discovery, solution shaping, proposal development, negotiation, and contract signature.
  • Coordinate technical scoping with engineering and delivery teams, you lead the commercial process while bringing in technical experts at the right moments.
  • Work closely with our VP Partnerships, converting partner-sourced opportunities while driving direct acquisition yourself.
  • Collaborate with our Head of Customer Success and engineering leadership on scoping, pricing, and handoff. You lead deals through initial onboarding to ensure a clean transition into delivery.
  • Build and run a repeatable commercial system: CRM discipline, pipeline forecasting, qualification frameworks, and win/loss analysis.
  • Represent DBot at industry events, conferences, and key client meetings across Europe and Asia.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in B2B services sales, ideally selling custom software development, digital agency services, or technology consulting to mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Experience generating your own pipeline, not just managing inbound leads.
  • Strong experience selling internationally, you understand enterprise procurement cycles, stakeholder management, and compliance expectations.
  • Comfortable selling technical services without being an engineer yourself. You can lead discovery conversations and know when to bring in specialists.
  • Fluent in English. German is a strong plus.
  • You've built or improved a sales process before, not just followed one someone else created.
  • Comfortable working across time zones (Bangkok, Frankfurt, client locations).

Nice to have

  • Experience in AI, ecommerce, commerce platforms, or digital transformation
  • Existing network in enterprise / IT procurement
  • Familiarity with MedusaJS, Shopify, commercetools, or similar platforms
  • Experience working in or selling from Southeast Asia
