Role Purpose
The Vice President Head of Transformation leads enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives, translating strategic ambition into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes. The role drives reimagining of the insurance business, operating model redesign, and Technology, Data, and AI enablement to ensure sustainable growth and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead major business transformation programs to reimagine insurance business models, customer experience, and value creation.
- Redefine the enterprise operating model and ways of working to improve agility, productivity, and cross-functional collaboration by working closely with HR (and/or external consultant)
- Define and align Target State Architecture across Technology, Data, and AI to support business strategy and scalability by working closely with Tech team (and/or external consultant)
- Develop an integrated enterprise transformation roadmap with clear prioritization, sequencing, and dependencies.
- Build and present business cases (cost, benefit, ROI) for Board of Directors (BOD) approval.
- Lead both discovery and implementation phases, managing complex stakeholders to ensure successful execution and benefit realization.
- Own enterprise AI portfolio management, including initiative intake, prioritization, progress tracking, and benefit monitoring.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers / Transformation Leads, fostering high performance and team engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience, with significant exposure to enterprise transformation, strategy, or large-scale change programs.
- Proven track record delivering business and operating model transformation, preferably in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
- Strong experience in transformation roadmap development, business case creation, and BOD-level presentations.
- Solid understanding of Technology, Data, and AI-enabled transformation (business-focused, not purely technical).
