HR Director, Southeast Asia | B2B - up to 180k/annum
Frazer Jones is appointed on an exclusive and confidential basis to appoint a HR Director to oversee the Southeast Asia region (total of 5 markets, headcount of <1000). This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Singapore and is 5-days onsite in office (Central). In this critical and newly created role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR agenda for the corporate office in Singapore and lead a team of HR members across Southeast Asia. With the business entering a strategic phase of expansion in key growth markets, this role will be integral in strengthening HR fundamentals, building organisational capability, and ensuring the HR function effectively supports the region's long‑term commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
In a hands-on capacity, this role will oversee the end‑to‑end HR agenda across multiple diverse Southeast Asian markets. This is a role which involves proactively building and scaling. As the organisation grows, the HR Director will be responsible for strengthening people practices across markets, through detailed coaching and development of country HR leaders, driving consistent standards in collaboration with Centres of Excellence, and translating regional strategies into effective, locally relevant execution. You will own and refine the HR operating model, ensuring strong execution of core HR processes including workforce planning, recruitment, employee lifecycle management, organisational effectiveness, performance management, and HR operations. Specifically, this role is expected to remain hands‑on to certain degree, whilst providing practical, business‑aligned guidance on both operational and strategic people matters.
Ideal Profile
The client seeks an experienced HR leader with strong operational depth and a proven track record overseeing HR across multiple Southeast Asian markets. Most importantly experience in B2B sectors, or organisations with distributed sales offices is strongly preferred. As a guideline, candidates should bring at least 12 to 15 years of HR experience. Success in this role requires the ability to work within a lean team structure, maintain a hands‑on approach, and apply strong Excel proficiency.

A bachelor's degree is required, with a relevant qualification in HR or business considered an advantage.
Experience in M&A and post-merger integration from a people or HR perspective would be highly valued, as would exposure to fast-growing, joint venture, or scaling organisational environments.
