Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to lead our Thailand HR operations. This role is critical in bridging our Thailand plant and Global Headquarters, ensuring that HR strategies are effectively implemented to support business growth. You will be responsible for managing the HR Shared Service Center (SSC), maintaining 100% legal compliance, and fostering strong relations with local government agencies.

What you'll be doing

  1. SSC & Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead the Thailand HR Shared Service Center (SSC) team; oversee the full employee lifecycleincluding recruitment, onboarding, internal transfers, and offboardingfor both local staff and expatriates.
  2. Operational Excellence: Provide guidance to business units within Thailand to ensure all HR operations are orderly, efficient, and aligned with company-wide standards.
  3. HR Compliance & Auditing: Conduct periodic audits of HR practices to ensure full compliance with Thai Labor Laws and internal corporate policies.
  4. HQ Liaison & Strategy: Maintain a clear communication channel with Global Headquarters. Monitor local industry trends and regulatory changes in Thailand to provide proactive suggestions for policy improvements.
  5. External Relations: Act as the primary representative for the company in coordinating with Thai government agencies, including the Department of Labour, Immigration Bureau, Law firms, and Educational institutions.
  6. General Management: Manage and execute other HR-related projects and departmental tasks as assigned by the management.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. At least 8 years of professional HR experience in the manufacturing sector, with a strong preference for candidates from Chinese manufacturing environments.
  3. Fluent in English and Thai; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Thai Labor Law, social security regulations, and HR compliance standards.
  5. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing HR teams.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural interpersonal skills
  7. Proven ability to handle external relations with government agencies, such as the Labor Department and Immigration Bureau.
  8. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
