Job Description

CJ CheilJedang Thailand is a subsidiary of CJ Group, a leading global food and bio company headquartered in Seoul, Korea. We are expanding rapidly across Southeast Asia, and our Thailand branch plays a key role in regional manufacturing, logistics, and distribution of food products such as dumplings, kimchi, and sauces.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an HR professional who can lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions with a strong business partnership mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Business Partnering

  • Act as a strategic HR business partner to local management and HQ, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Advise senior leaders on organization design, talent development, and workforce planning.
  • Support integration and cultural alignment between Thai and Korean teams.

2. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Lead recruitment strategy for both local and expatriate employees in collaboration with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job design, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Develop talent pipelines and succession plans for critical roles.

3. Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll management and ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness in salary payments.
  • Manage employee benefits, social security, provident fund, and income tax compliance.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and review compensation structures to remain competitive in the Thai market.
  • Lead annual salary review and performance bonus process in coordination with regional HR and Finance.

4. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Thai labour law and company policies.
  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and fairness.
  • Represent the company in communication with labour authorities and external stakeholders when required.

5. Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs, design learning programs, and manage training budgets.
  • Foster employee engagement and capability development through coaching and feedback culture.

6. HR Operations & Systems

  • Maintain and improve HRIS (B-plus or equivalent) to ensure accurate employee data and reporting.
  • Manage expatriate support, visa, and work permit processes.
  • Prepare HR reports for HQ and ensure timely submission.
