Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full import process for grocery and food products, from supplier coordination to final delivery
• Ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Health Certificates)
• Oversee compliance with Thai regulations, including Thai FDA (อย.), Customs, and relevant authorities (e.g., Department of Livestock Development, Department of Fisheries)
• Coordinate with international suppliers to ensure proper packaging, labeling (Thai requirements), and sufficient shelf life
• Plan and manage import timelines to align with inventory and demand forecasts
• Monitor and optimize import costs (freight, duties, taxes, cold chain logistics if applicable)
• Troubleshoot and resolve import-related issues such as customs delays, documentation discrepancies, or product quality concerns
• Lead and manage the import/logistics team to ensure operational efficiency
• Prepare and analyze reports on import performance, cost, and risks (e.g., near-expiry products)
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Food Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in import, logistics, or supply chain, preferably in grocery, food retail, or FMCG
• Strong knowledge of Thai import regulations and Thai FDA (อย.) requirements
• Experience handling perishable, chilled, frozen, and dry food products
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong command of English (written and spoken)
• Established network with freight forwarders, suppliers, or logistics partners is a plus
