Job Description
- Follow up on overseas suppliers delivery performance by monitoring production capacity, and negotiate with suppliers when necessary.
- Monitor and analyze actual delivery performance against the delivery plan, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues in order to improve suppliers delivery performance through weekly/monthly meetings and monthly performance reports.
- Follow up on customer back orders to obtain the earliest possible delivery dates from overseas suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers to obtain estimated delivery dates after the company places purchase orders.
- Prepare supplier analysis reports, including monthly delivery performance and other relevant metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in overseas purchasing or procurement.
- Experience in importing parts from overseas, including preparation of import documents and knowledge of import licenses and regulations.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
