Make your mark within the Finance Team

As a global multinational insurance corporation, AIG makes thousands of payment transactions monthly, both domestic and international, in a multitude of currencies. Timely and accurate payments are an essential part of the business, regardless of whether they are for policyholders, business partners, government organizations, employees, or other entities within the AIG group. Additionally, we constantly strive to evolve our Advanced Payments capabilities through adopting new technologies and optimizing our processes.

How you will create an impact

  • Prepare/or review the indirect tax filing to the Revenue department on a monthly/bi-monthly basis for 3 entities - AIG Insurance Thailand, Universal Insurance Broker and Thai UIB Holding.

  • Review Stamp Duty performed by outsourcing before submitting to the Revenue Department.

  • Prepare and or review PND3 and PND53 incurred from claim and vendor payment which currently perform by outsourcing.

  • Prepare and/or review agent and broker indirect tax of PND1, PND3 and PND53.

  • Prepare Input VAT register (tax claimable), reconciliation and control outstanding tax invoice including follow up tax invoice from related parties and process write off for expiry VAT from accounting record.

  • Prepare PP30 (VAT) and PT40 (SBT) submitting to the Revenue Department.

  • Submit all indirect tax forms through e-filing of the Revenue Department.

  • Perform Thai indirect tax compliance and/or financial reporting functions, relating to indirect tax.

  • Prepare/review balance sheet reconciliation for both VAT and Withholding tax.

  • Support for any review or audit from the Revenue Department.

  • Support for process improvement of agent tax (PND1 and PND3).

  • Responsible for new project related to Indirect tax and accounting.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.

  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax, preferably in an insurance company.

  • Business level Thai (written/spoken). Business level for written English a must, for spoken English preferred.

  • Accounting & Tax knowledge.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and external parties.

  • Strong analytical and time management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills with prior experience working with accounting software and MS Office i.e. Excel, Word and Powerpoint
