Job Responsibilities:
1. ESG Ratings & Rankings
- Support data collection, validation, and submission for leading ESG benchmarks such as S&P Dow Jones. Sustainability Indices, Sustainalytics, GRESB, CDP, and Corporate Knights Global 100.
- Assist in gap analysis and benchmarking against industry peers.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails, if any, for submissions.
2. Sustainability Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of CDL's annual sustainability report and other disclosures
- Support data consolidation and verification in alignment with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and ISSB
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather ESG-related information
3. Sustainable Finance
- Support managing of green financing instruments (e.g., sustainability-linked loans).
- Assist in preparing materials for investors and financial institutions.
- Conduct research on sustainable finance trends and frameworks.
4. Media & Communications
- Draft content for sustainability-related press releases, speeches, and social media.
- Support the development of thought leadership materials and campaign messaging.
- Monitor media coverage and ESG trends relevant to CDL.
5. ESG Data & Platform Management
- Support the management and maintenance of ESG data platforms and internal dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across systems.
- Assist in digitalisation and process improvement initiatives for ESG data management.
6. Research & Special Projects
- Conduct research on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Support ad-hoc projects, partnerships, and internal initiatives led by the Sustainability team.
7. General Administrative and Project Support
- Assist with financial and administrative work related to sustainability projects.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and briefing notes for the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO).
- Represent CDL at external conferences and sustainability-related events where required.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or any other related field.
- Strong interest in ESG, sustainability reporting, and corporate responsibility.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Organised, independent, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
