About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of holding companies, including managing corporate documentation and filings, overseeing annual statutory audits and financial reporting, and providing general administrative support for investment teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage finance and accounting related matters for holding companies including bookkeeping, preparation of Management Accounts and finance transaction processing.
- Manage auditors on all matters related to the audited financial statements of holding companies and ensure timely issuance of audited financial statements.
- Manage and update investment structures for portfolios with involvement from pre-deal stage through to structure finalisation and ongoing post deal updates.
- Manage, improve and systemize holding companies corporate documentation, process and filings as well as all annual statutory audits and ensure full compliance.
- Provide general administrative assistance for investment teams in relation to deals / portfolio companies.
Requirements
- Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in business or accounting. Any additional professional qualifications and training related to accounting and company secretarial work is a bonus
- Total Work Experience : Good performer with min 3 to 5 years experience in either one or a combination of these areas: -
- External audit or any experience in an audit firm (Big 8)
- Financial Accounting
- Management Accounting – budgeting & costing
- Corporate secretarial work (must have some accounting knowledge)
- Skills / Knowledge:
- Meticulous attention to detail and diligent
- Ability to think out of the box
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent academic qualifications in Business (analytics-related field preferred), Finance and/ or Accounting
