Our client, a well-established French freight forwarding and logistics company with a strong global presence, is seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join its Thailand team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys both hunting for new business opportunities and growing strategic customer relationships. The role will focus on developing and converting global accounts with limited or no existing business in Thailand, particularly within the FMCG, Automotive, and Industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within assigned global and multinational accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across local, regional, and global organizations.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding the company's footprint within targeted accounts in Thailand.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global account management teams to align customer strategies and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct customer needs assessments and develop tailored logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and manage contract discussions.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and deliver against revenue and profitability targets.
- Coordinate with operational and solution teams to ensure successful implementation and service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or transportation sales.
- Proven track record in both business development (hunting) and account growth (farming).
- Experience managing multinational or regional accounts is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of international freight forwarding solutions, including air, ocean, contract logistics, and supply chain services.
- Experience serving customers within FMCG, automotive, industrial manufacturing, or related sectors is advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage with both local and regional decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
