The Key Account Manager role is a commercially focused position for someone ready to manage strategic retail partners in the sport fashion retail space. This role will drive account growth, sales performance, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional execution across retail and e-commerce channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow strategic retail accounts, acting as the main point of contact
- Drive sales performance, revenue growth, and account profitability
- Develop and execute joint business plans with key partners
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements
- Plan and optimise product assortments based on sales data and market trends
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, launches, and in-store execution
- Monitor KPIs, including sell-through, inventory, and forecast accuracy, and take appropriate action
- Coordinate cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3 to 7 years of experience in key account management, sales, or retail
- Experience in sport or fashion retail is preferred
- Strong understanding of the sport fashion or athleisure market
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving growth
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical skills, including Excel and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
