Job Description

Asia Thailand LIXIL (Thailand) PCL. Employee Assignment Not remote Full Time 18 June 2026

Job Purpose

  • Lead procurement activities, administratively and ensure adherence to regional guidelines and process.
  • Ensure compliance with all external and internal guidelines. encompassing oversight of both direct & indirect material sourcing activities
  • Define sourcing strategy by regional & global team direction to meet country production needs
  • Supervise and develop staff members, to fulfill the business objectives, provide team training & coach to people growth & advancement
  • Conduct the P&L responsibilities in the commodities assignment to meet CI/CE target,
  • Steer suppliers in daily business & performance to continuously improvement of supply flexibility, quality (DPPM), delivery (OTIF) performance, as an interfaces with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments
  • Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions.
  • Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet SOIP, Production, Commercial and customer requirements.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Source, qualify and select suppliers to procure requisitions meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, and delivery date.
  • Purchase direct items such as raw materials, packaging materials and chemicals, machinery, equipment, tools, parts including any supplies and services for operation and organization as per company policies and procedures. This includes the purchasing of outside repairs.
  • Develop and deliver sourcing strategies for goods and services per category, drive cost saving and Inflation avoidance.
  • Lead supplier management to continuous improvement in costs, qualities, services and innovation.
  • Initiate projects and conduct purchasing analysis / benchmarking for cost effectiveness.
  • Improve operational processes for better work with a function team.
  • To assess risk with mitigation action.
  • Lead category contract management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate integrity and work with LIXIL values and behaviors.
  • Team player with ownership, able to work with people and suppliers of all kinds and from all walks
  • Responsible for Procurement cost saving and minimizing Inflation impact.
  • On-time delivery (OTIF) of suppliers.
  • On target of launching plan.
  • Supplier Quality Defective and complaint rate (DPPM).
  • Work as team to serve cross functional, internal customer and external customer (MFG, SCM, Marketing, Sale and finance)

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • 10-15 years working experience in Procurement or Supply chain management experience in progressively senior positions.
  • Strong negotiation skills & leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability of managing cost performance, supply & delivery a variety of product lines from multiple sources.
  • Strong analytical, financial costing, Ability to transform current business model to a supply chain machine: building end to end supply chains in depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes & current best practices.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility across organization/ engage others to ensure the most effective.
  • Flexibility to seek & incorporate input from others into the plan/ solid track record for effectively managing/ developing a team.
  • Experience in supply chain technology/ processes such as SAP, Ariba
  • Strong command of English and Computer literacy required
  • Experiences in working in MNC environment in Thailand/Asia, good understanding and appreciation of MNC (Multinational Corporation) culture mix in Thailand & worldwide
  • Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple workload simultaneously while adapting to changes in business requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in VAVE is preferable
  • Fluent in both oral and written English, good PC skills, e.g. Excel, google Outlook, PPT
