JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for building and implementing machine learning models to solve business problems. Machine Learning Engineer works closely with data scientists and engineers to develop, train, and deploy ML models, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The job holder focuses more on foundational skills in model development and deployment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop machine learning models based on business requirements.
- Preprocess large datasets and ensure data quality for model training.
- Train, test, and validate machine learning models using various algorithms and techniques.
- Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing products and services by considering model accuracy and efficiency through experimentation and hyperparameter tuning.
- Document the model development process and maintain detailed records of experiments.
- Demonstrate a commitment to improve and comply with SSHE policy, environment regulations as well as labor law
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Successful rate of machine learning models deployment.
- Performance metrics on model accuracy, precision, and recall.
- % of reduction in model training time and resource consumption.
- Number of new machine learning features or algorithms developed and implemented.
- Model uptime and reliability in production environments.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree of Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics or related field.
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in training and deploying machine learning models, with a focus on model optimization and evaluation.
- Experience in training and deploying machine learning models, with a focus on model optimization and evaluation.
- Understanding of model optimization techniques and experience with testing and validation.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
