Manager, IT SAP Logistics (Rayong based)

What awaits you

The position, based in Plant Thailand and BPM, leads a team responsible for SAP projects, change management, and operations across all logistics-related modules.

Provide effective IT SAP change and operations management for BMW Plant Thailand, BPM, Body Shop, and the upcoming BEV production.

This role serves as the key interface between BMW Central IT product owners and the local operation, ensuring global standards and solutions are aligned, adopted, and optimized for the Thai environment.

SAP Governance

Ensure SAP security and governance comply with company regulations and Internal Control Standards (ICS).

Enforce SAP compliance, including segregation of duties, according to BMW SAP guidelines.

SAP Operations

Operate and support SAP TH Material Management, Warehouse Management, MIC, Local Supplier processes, and all related interfaces.

Manage business-driven SAP enhancements through a structured change control process.

Support SAP user management, including roles, authorizations, and access rights.

Perform business requirement analysis and develop local solution designs for maintenance and improvements.

Participate as part of the Central IT rollout project team.

Ensure all SAP operational SLAs are fully met.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT SAP configurations, procedures, and processes.

Generate regular reports on SAP performance, capacity, system health, and security incidents.

Communicate SAP updates, issues, and system status to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

Knowledge on SAP Basics and authorization concept

Knowledge on general SAP functional, Material Management, Logistics, Sales and distribution, Production, Financial Accounting ,Warehouse Management and Controlling including Plant Maintenance.

Cross functional knowledge across different modules

Knowledge on Classification and Batch management

Knowledge on ITS-Mobile solution

Knowledge on interface connection

Knowledge on ABAP programming

Knowledge on Central system integration business flow e.g. IVS-R, VDS, PFIFF

Knowledge on Export business

Knowledge on Standard tools e.g. SOLMAN (Solution Manager)

Strong people/team management for both internal & external organizations in diversity of levels and skills of those people and working effectively in a team-oriented environment to achieve the common goals/objectives as well as to maintain strong internal & external relationships.

Ability to make decisions within the limits of general practices and procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
