Job Summary:
The Trade Credit Insurance Manager is responsible for driving business growth through new client acquisition, retention of existing portfolios, and timely renewal of accounts. The role also leads client servicing activities, supports claims handling, and ensures effective coordination between clients, insurers, and internal teams. This position plays a key role in developing strong customer relationships and delivering high‑quality trade credit insurance solutions
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Portfolio Growth
• Drive business expansion through targeted acquisition of new clients.
• Develop sales strategies and identify market opportunities to grow the Trade Credit portfolio.
• Achieve assigned revenue targets, activity KPIs, and productivity goals.
2. Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary contact point for assigned clients.
• Maintain strong and long term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Lead renewal discussions, policy structuring, and negotiation with insurers.
3. Claims Coordination & Support
• Guide clients through the claims notification and documentation process.
• Coordinate with insurers to monitor claim progress and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide advisory support to clients on credit risk assessment and policy usage.
4. Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with cross functional teams (Operations & Processing, Finance & Accounting, Legal & Compliance, IT) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide account insights and technical support to internal stakeholders when required.
5. Governance & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and audit ready records.
• Monitor potential risk exposures and escalate any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in trade credit insurance, insurance brokerage, or B2B financial services.
• Proven track record in sales/business development and client relationship management.
• Experience in handling trade credit claims is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial mindset, and an understanding of credit risk.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
