Insignia Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead the launch and development of a new office in Bangkok. This role is a unique opportunity to build operations from the ground up within a premium lifestyle-focused financial services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the office, shaping its culture, and driving growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end setup of the Bangkok office, including operational, legal, and administrative foundations.
- Develop and execute a regional growth strategy aligned with Insignia's global vision.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team, including Personal Assistants (PAs) and back-office support functions over time.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience aligned with a luxury lifestyle brand
- Establish strong relationships with local partners, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Implement processes, training programs, and performance standards to ensure operational excellence.
- Act as the key representative for the business in the region, maintaining brand integrity and reputation.
- Work closely with senior leadership, including founders and global teams, to drive strategic initiatives.
- Work in parallel with the team in Singapore to manage and oversee the Asian region.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a lifestyle, concierge, or premium service-oriented business.
- Demonstrated experience setting up or scaling an office, business unit, or startup operation.
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian market, particularly Thailand.
- Experience hiring, training, and managing teams, with a focus on service excellence.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior executives or founders.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in lifestyle services, or working with high-net-worth client services.
- Existing network within the Bangkok or wider Southeast Asia lifestyle/business ecosystem.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
