Human Intelligence (HI) is on a mission to create a seamless, personalised, and career-connected learning system — so that every learner in Thailand, at any age or stage, can access opportunities to grow and thrive. We build the infrastructure and experiences that connect learning to life: from AI-powered digital learning platforms used by millions of students, to innovative classroom tools that transform the way teachers teach and students learn. We are a team of educators, technologists, designers, and strategists united by a belief that education — done right — changes everything.
The Opportunity
This role is not for someone who wants to manage a steady-state operation. HI's learning programmes team is one of the largest and most complex K-12 content delivery operations in Thailand — 40 people, two parallel workstreams, non-negotiable deadlines, and a major strategic inflection point on the horizon. Whoever leads it will need to hit the ground running, establish trust with a team of specialists fast, and simultaneously deliver today while rebuilding for tomorrow.
We are looking for a high-calibre programme leader — someone who has thrived under intense timelines, navigated ambiguity with confidence, and turned complex multi-stakeholder environments into well-oiled delivery machines. This is a role for a strategic operator: someone who can read a situation quickly, build the plan, and drive execution with urgency. A background in education is useful but not the point. Intellectual horsepower, delivery instinct, and leadership under pressure are what will make this person exceptional in this role.
What You Will Do
Run a Complex, Multi-Stream Programme
- Take full accountability for delivery across a 40-person team organised across two parallel workstreams — each with its own specialists, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations
- Own the master programme plan: build it from day one if needed — milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, risk registers, and escalation paths across both streams
- Design governance that keeps the team focused, unblocked, and accountable — clear enough to create discipline, light enough to preserve speed
Build and Lead the Leadership Layer
- Work with the cross-stream PM, Academic Lead, Production QC Manager, and Head of Content Innovation to create a coherent leadership structure — define mandates, resolve overlaps, and build a team that can operate independently
- Be the decision-maker for scope, quality, and timeline trade-offs: read the situation fast, decide with conviction, and communicate clearly
- Develop people: create growth paths, hold people to high standards, and build a culture that takes delivery seriously without burning out
Own the Strategic Transition
- Rapidly diagnose where the team stands, what the risks are, and what decisions need to be made in the first 30–60 days
- Build and own the transition roadmap — assess options for follow-on programmes, B2B content production for HI's AI learning platform, or a combination, size the opportunity and the risk, and present a clear recommendation to leadership
- Manage the stakeholders that come with a transition of this scale: internal leadership, the B2B business lead, the Academic Lead, and the content team itself — everyone needs clarity, and you provide it
- Make the hard structural calls: which roles are needed in the next phase, who is ready to step up, and where you need to hire
What We Are Looking For
- A proven delivery leader under pressure — you have managed large, complex, multi-workstream programmes with hard deadlines and high stakes, and you have a track record of making them land. Background in consulting, large-scale project delivery, education, media, or any complex service operation is welcome
- Strategic thinker with an execution bias — you can do the analysis, build the plan, and then actually execute it. You do not hand off after the deck; you own the outcome
- Someone who earns trust with experts — your team leads will know their subject matter better than you. You earn their respect not by knowing more, but by clearing the path, making fast decisions, and having their backs
- Sharp under ambiguity — you are energised, not paralysed, when the brief is incomplete; you know how to structure unclear problems and move fast without waiting for perfect information
- A strong communicator and stakeholder manager — you can write the executive summary, run the team meeting, and have the difficult conversation, all in the same day
- 8+ years in programme management, strategy, consulting, or operations leadership — the industry matters less than the proof that you can lead at this scale and pace
It Would Be a Bonus If You Have
- Experience in education, EdTech, publishing, or any content-intensive programme environment
- A consulting background — particularly in operations, organisational transformation, or large-scale programme delivery
- Experience managing a team through a strategic pivot or organisational transition
