The Opportunity
- Seeking a Thailand-based Partnerships / Commercial Lead to drive local market expansion.
- Focus on building and executing partnerships across the Thai media ecosystem, including broadcasters, telecom operators, and content production partners.
- Key role in bringing premium international content into the Thai market.
- Act as a bridge between Thailand and regional/HQ teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and partnerships across Thailand, focusing on:
- Broadcasters / TV networks
- Telecom operators
- Content studios and production houses
- Lead and execute:
- Content licensing and distribution deals
- Co-production and joint content initiatives
- IP partnerships and commercialization opportunities
- Build and manage relationships with key local partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute local market strategies aligned with regional/HQ objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams (content, operations, product, and tech) to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and projects.
- Support the development of the company's local presence and operations in Thailand.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles within:
- Media / entertainment
- OTT / streaming platforms
- Telecom / digital platforms
- Content production or distribution
- Strong understanding of the Thailand media and content ecosystem.
- Existing network across broadcasters, telcos, or content partners is highly preferred.
- Experience in content licensing, distribution, or partnerships is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work in a cross-border environment, collaborating with regional and China-based teams.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a must; Thai language capability is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment.
