Job Description

At Yum! Restaurants International (Thailand) Co., Ltd., we are seeking a talented and strategic Marketing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the KFC MARKETING department. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the potential of our resources and driving the execution of our strategic growth agenda. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and developing projects that align with our OKR and Strategy in Action programs, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in the highly competitive restaurant industry.

I. Marketing Operations

  • Detailed program and project management of the marketing calendar of business unit.
  • A thought partner in the development of the strategy as a member of the Marketing ELT
  • Lead the end to end commercialisation agenda for the organisation to ensure that all functions are working collaboratively, bring the team together to deliver the Marketing innovation objectives through aligned readiness to support the business strategy.
  • Create structure (routines, templates, cadence) for constructive progress tracking and reporting that will enable a consistent way of working across the teams and hold team members accountable.
  • Work with the Marketing team and the identified cross functional stakeholders to develop a 18-24 month Marketing calendar.
  • Develop & maintain detailed project management approach and tracking to enable the successful execution of innovations and LTO's through robust action plans.
  • Support the team with daily/weekly challenges that put the Marketing Calendar at risk.
  • Ensure feedback to Marketing and relevant stakeholders on NPC (New Product Council) take-outs and ensure all resources (local/regional) are mobilised to enable project success
  • Communicate risk and opportunity areas cross functionally and to provide BCP's to mitigate any risks.
  • Actively seek and explore ways with the cross functional team to improve our ability to support product change timelines efficiently.

II. Optimise Business Process

  • Lead the regular innovation pipeline decision making forum, through a stage-gate process. This forum will have a consistent cadence with outputs that will direct the structure and expectation of the Marketing Calendar
  • Management of the project management planning, coordinating, and executing all activities in the process, investigating ways to improve this process to enable faster speed to market.
  • Identify required governance to enable the required business processes.
  • Lead the OKR forums including LT review, guide the conversation to ensure this is a decision making and progressive process to enable growth and take advantage of opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement on all business processes and capability, to enable effective decision making

  • Min 6 - 8 Years experience in roles involved with program and process management.

  • Exposure to innovation and marketing stage gate models advantageous
  • Cross functional experience
  • Experience in program and project management
  • Preferably experience in food manufacturing or retailing busines

Reporting to the Associate Director - Marketing, this person will work closely with:

  • Business Leadership Teams, Marketing SLT
  • Cross-functional teams in Marketing (Calendar, Consumer Insights, Brand Communication), Operations, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Franchise partners (QSA, CRG and RD)
  • Appointed vendors/suppliers to support our marketing as the brand standard guideline
