Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing feasibility (DFM/DFA) reviews for mechanical components
• Define manufacturing processes, line layout, tooling requirements
• Support tooling design reviews and trial builds
• Lead process validation during EVT/DVT/PVT
• Prepare PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions
• Analyze defects and drive corrective actions
• Improve cycle time, yield, and cost through continuous improvement
• Evaluate supplier capability and drive manufacturing improvements
• Track key manufacturing KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, cycle time)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in component manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of machining, stamping, casting, injection molding
• Skilled in GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
• Solid understanding of PFMEA, DOE, SPC, MSA
• Hands-on experience with tooling, fixtures, jigs
• Cross-functional communication, ability to work with suppliers and manufacturing sites
• Strong communication, Fluent in Thai and English reading/writing ability
• Strong hands-on problem solving
• Data-driven decision making
