- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all new products and processes comply with EHS, legal, customer, and ELTL safety requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments (PFMEA, Process Risk Analysis) during NPI phase.
- Ensure correct implementation of machine safety, ergonomics, PPE, and chemical handling for new processes.
- Support audits and ensure NPI activities meet internal and external compliance standards.
- Cost
- Support cost target achievement during product industrialization.
- Optimize material usage, cycle time, manpower, and tooling costs.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Finance on BOM validation and cost breakdown.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Products / Process control
- Define and validate process flow, work instructions, control plans, and technical parameters for frames products.
- Lead process trials, pilot runs, and line validation.
- Ensure process capability (Cp/Cpk) meets defined requirements.
- Support correct setup of machines, tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Projects / Improvements
- Lead or participate in NPI-related projects, including new models, transfers, or technology upgrades.
- Coordinate project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive process improvements identified during development and ramp-up phases.
- Ensure project execution follows ELTL project management standards.
- Production Coordination
- Act as the technical interface between Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and NPI teams.
- Support production during trial, ramp-up, and mass production.
- Troubleshoot technical issues impacting output, quality, or efficiency.
- Ensure smooth handover from NPI to Production.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure product and process meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Support PPAP, FAI, and customer validation activities.
- Analyze defects, root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure quality checkpoints and inspection methods are defined and effective.
- Continuous Improvement
- Promote and apply Lean, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Monitor key KPIs such as yield, scrap, rework, and cycle time.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across assembly manufacturing processes.
- Share best practices across teams and projects.
- Responsibility in ELTL management system
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Comply with and actively support the ELTL Management System (Quality, EHS, Operations, and Ethics).
- Ensure documentation is accurate, controlled, and aligned with system requirements.
- Support internal and external audits related to NPI activities.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field).
- 3–5 years of experience in NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering, preferably in assembly manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of process development, PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, and industrial engineering tools.
- Understanding of quality systems, PPAP, FAI, and problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why).
- Cost awareness and basic financial understanding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong coordination and communication skills across functions.
- Structured, data-driven, and hands-on problem solver.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments in Thai/English.
