We're hiring: Merchandise Manager (Commercial)

Location: Bangkok (Rama 3), Thailand (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead merchandising strategy across Imported, Licensing, and Owned Brand business models to ensure optimal inventory productivity and sustainable commercial performance.
  • Analyze nationwide sell-through, consumer behavior trends, regional demand patterns, and SKU productivity to define strategic stock positioning and allocation direction.
  • Establish allocation frameworks and stock prioritization guidelines for operational merchandisers to execute across all channels (Department Store, Standalone, Modern Trade, E-Commerce).
  • Monitor inventory health including aging stock, sell-through rate, size break risk, stock cover, and markdown exposure to proactively mitigate commercial risk.
  • Provide early-warning insights and quantified financial impact analysis to Brand Directors and Commercial Leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between Open-to-Buy (OTB), buy plan, production planning, and real-time sales performance to control overstock and working capital risk.
  • Standardize merchandising KPIs and reporting dashboards across all brands to enable data-driven decision-making and executive visibility.
  • Support seasonal planning and business reviews with performance analytics, trend forecasting, and risk assessment insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Allocation, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and E-Commerce teams to ensure stock readiness and commercial alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement of merchandising processes, governance frameworks, and inventory optimization strategy across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • 7–12 years of experience in merchandising, commercial planning, or retail analytics
  • Strong exposure to multi-channel retail environments (Department Store, Standalone, E-Commerce)
  • Experience across Imported, Licensed, or Owned brands is highly preferred
  • Advanced analytical capability (Excel, Power BI, data modeling)
  • Strong understanding of OTB, inventory planning, allocation logic, and margin structure
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to translate inventory into P&L impact
  • Fluent in Thai and English
