Job Description

This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enhance operational efficiency by eliminating non-value-added activities and improving the agility of Head/Media qualification processes through digital transformation projects.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather insights and understand requirements.
• Develop, test, and support workflow applications for process automation, integrating AI models for predictive analysis and decision-making.
• Use AI/ML frameworks and tools to create intelligent solutions that enhance existing workflows or introduce new capabilities.
• Maintain detailed records of project activities, findings, and progress.
• Develop user manuals or training materials, if required.
• Participate in regular project meetings and actively contribute to team discussions.
• Present key findings and recommendations to mentors and stakeholders.
• Assist in designing digital solutions to streamline processes.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to prototype and test digital tools.
• Participate in system integration, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge and experience in developing applications with AI/ML technologies and integrating these into workflows.
• Familiarity with Software Design Patterns and Database Design Concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages/libraries such as Python (with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn), SQL, JavaScript, and APIs for workflow automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for hosting AI applications or tools.
• Skills in Design Thinking, Project Management, Presentations, and Teamwork.
• Experience in using project tracking tools like Trello, Jira, or Microsoft Project (optional but beneficial).
