Role Purpose
As the New Ventures Manager, you will play a strategic role in shaping the future of INSEE Ecocycle by identifying, evaluating, and driving new business opportunities. You will lead market scanning, develop partnerships, build investment cases, and pilot new initiatives that align with our sustainability mission and drive future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Venture Creation
- Develop a strategic pipeline of new business ideas, ventures, and partnerships.
- Build robust business cases supported by financial models and go-to-market strategies.
Market & M&A Scanning
- Identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential M&A targets.
- Prepare investment memos and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Partnership Management
- Foster collaboration with start-ups, corporates, research institutions, and government entities.
- Co-create pilot projects or joint ventures with partners aligned with our sustainability goals.
Internal Collaboration & Execution
- Work cross-functionally with commercial, operations, finance, and technical teams.
- Identify internal gaps and opportunities for innovation or growth.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Provide regular updates to the CEO and leadership team on venture progress.
- Contribute to long-term strategic plans and innovation roadmaps.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor&aposs or Masters Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 57 years of experience in strategy consulting, venture building, corporate development, or business innovation.
- Understanding business planning, and risk assessment.
- Experience in waste management, industrial services, energy, or ESG-driven sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (Thai and English).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional projects or new business launches.
