Support the execution of plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy
Assist in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner
Execute tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations
Support the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs
Prepare and submit relevant documents for tenders
Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines
Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews
Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions
Identify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to OFR pricing methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
Qualification: -
Bachelor's degree or MBA in Business Management, Logistics or and related field.
At least 3 years experience in Freight Forwarding Business with deep knowledge of Ocean.
Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage.
Strong project management skills and ability to cope with multiple bids in parallel.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent command of spoken and written in English
