Position: Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist

Location: AIA East Gateway Building, Bangna

Key Responsibilities: -

• Support the execution of plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy
• Assist in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner
• Execute tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations
• Support the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs
• Prepare and submit relevant documents for tenders
• Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
• Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines
• Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
• Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
• May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions
• Identify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to OFR pricing methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

Qualification: -

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in Business Management, Logistics or and related field.
• At least 3 years experience in Freight Forwarding Business with deep knowledge of Ocean.
• Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills and ability to cope with multiple bids in parallel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written in Englis h
