Our client is a well-established international manufacturing company specializing in plastic components, we are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee its Thailand operations. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end manufacturing processes, including injection molding, assembly, printing, warehouse, and supply chain coordination, ensuring operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Receive the management strategy of the production process and manage (PDCA) to meet the KPI targets
- Control and oversee all operational processes, including Injection Molding, Assembly, Pad Printing, Warehouse, Operational Purchasing, Planning, and Operational Administration, to ensure alignment with company objectives
- Control production processes and estimate production volumes to meet standards and customer requirements
- Manage operations according to the production plan to ensure achievement of required quantities and on-time delivery to customers
- Ensure proper coordination between planning, purchasing, warehouse, and production to support smooth material flow and continuous operations
- Analyze production and process problems and implement improvements to continuously reduce waste, rework, and inefficiencies
- Plan and optimize the utilization of machines, equipment, and manpower in line with production capacity requirements
- Provide guidance on production technology, innovation, and technical improvements to enhance process stability and efficiency
- Supervise and develop subordinates to ensure achievement of departmental KPIs and overall operational performance
- Monitor and control inventory levels, material availability, and operational purchasing activities to support production requirements
- Ensure accurate and efficient operational administration processes to support daily operations
- Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth execution of operations and alignment between all related departments
Requirements
- Education: At least bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering fields
- Experience: At least 5 years in production managerial level
- Communication: Good command of written & spoken English
- Special abilities: Computer literate in MS office and knowledge of other application programs
- Others: Very good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
