About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing food and beverage business. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across retail outlets, production, inventory, logistics, food safety, and people management while supporting the successful launch and expansion of new locations

.The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. As part of a growing business, you will play a key role in building operational systems, developing teams, and driving continuous improvement across the organization

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Excellence

• Oversee the daily operations of retail outlets and production facilities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve operational SOPs, workflows, and service standard
• Monitor operational performance, conduct regular audits, and drive service excellence
• Support new outlet openings, operational setup, and post-launch stabilization
• Ensure consistent customer experience and operational standards across all locations

Production, Inventory & Supply Chain

• Coordinate production planning to meet operational and sales requirements
• Manage inventory levels, stock movement, forecasting, and replenishment
• Oversee procurement, supplier coordination, logistics, warehousing, and deliveries
• .Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and maintain product availability
• Work closely with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve operational issues efficiently

Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and local regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance checks across operations
• Maintain operational documentation and ensure audit readiness
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions where necessary

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop retail and operational teams
• Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and scheduling
• Develop training materials and conduct operational and service training
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance working culture

Facilities & Asset Management

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of outlets, production equipment, and operational assets
• Coordinate servicing, repairs, and vendor management
• Ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and operationally ready at all times

Business Growth & Continuous Improvement

• Support operational planning for new outlet openings and future expansion
• Analyse operational KPIs, sales performance, and customer trends to identify improvement opportunities
• Recommend process improvements, cost optimisation initiatives, and operational efficiencies
• Assist management in implementing scalable systems and best practices to support business growth

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in F&B, hospitality, café, dessert, retail, or multi-outlet operations
• Experience in pre-opening projects, multi-site operations, or business expansion is highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, production planning, supply chain coordination, and operational SOP implementation
• Experience working with international brands or franchise operations is an added advantage.
