Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Operations/ Senior Operations Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our brokerage and private fund services. In this capacity, you will bridge daily operational functions with strategic governance, working closely with the COO, Front Office, and IT to uphold the sophisticated service levels and operational integrity our clients expect.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

  • Supervise and perform end-to-end operational processes for securities brokerage and private fund businesses, including trade processing, settlement, documentation, data maintenance, reconciliation, and client communication.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily, periodic, and ad-hoc operational activities, including cash and trade reconciliation and settlement reporting to relevant parties.
  • Support and monitor compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, BOT) and internal policies, including preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for Front Office and Relationship Managers, providing operational support and resolving complex operational issues.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of client static data, trade booking, and operational records across systems and platforms.
  • Coordinate with offshore banks, local agent banks, and internal stakeholders to support funding, remittance, and settlement processes.
  • Identify, propose, and implement process improvements and operational enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
  • Participate in or lead selected operational initiatives and projects, including new product support, system enhancements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with IT.
  • Support governance and control activities across Operations, including risk identification, issue escalation, and adherence to agreed workflows and control standards.
  • Assist Operations Manager and COO in monitoring operational performance, readiness, and execution against business and strategic objectives.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in securities brokerage and/or private fund operations, with strong understanding of end-to-end operational workflows and value chains.
  • Hands-on knowledge of trade booking, settlement, reconciliation, client reporting, and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Good understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to financial services operations.
  • Experience in process design, improvement initiatives, and operational risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience working with operational systems and platforms
