Job Purpose
The Hospitality Partnerships Manager is responsible for supporting the growth of BHS by identifying, developing and managing potential hospitality partnership opportunities, including Asset Management, Hotel Management Agreements (HMA) and Third-Party Operator (TPO) opportunities.
The role focuses on business origination, relationship development, opportunity qualification and coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the business development process.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Opportunity Identification
- Develop and maintain a structured database of independent, family-owned and other potential hotel assets within BHS's target markets.
- Identify hotels and hospitality assets where BHS may create value through improved operations, repositioning, revenue optimization, asset management or third-party management.
- Research hotel ownership structures, holding companies, developers and key decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized target list based on agreed business and investment criteria.
- Monitor hospitality market developments and identify emerging business opportunities.
Business Origination & Relationship Development
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through direct outreach, LinkedIn, industry events, referrals and professional networks.
- Build and maintain relationships with hotel owners, developers, investors and relevant industry stakeholders.
- Develop a network of intermediaries including hotel brokers, consultants, lawyers, architects, financial institutions, valuers and international hotel brand development teams.
- Arrange and conduct initial meetings with prospective owners and business partners.
- Maintain long-term relationships with potential partners and opportunities that may require longer development cycles.
Opportunity Qualification & Hotel Diagnostics
- Conduct initial qualification of opportunities based on hotel size, market, operating performance, commercial potential, management fee viability and support requirements.
- Develop an initial commercial assessment of each opportunity, including positioning, distribution, operating model, brand potential and potential CAPEX requirements.
- Coordinate the BHS Hotel Performance Diagnostic with Business Performance, Revenue Management and other relevant functions.
- Support management in determining the appropriate business solution, including Asset Management, HMA, TPO, repositioning or other potential structures.
Proposal Development & Conversion
- Coordinate and prepare owner-facing proposals, presentations, business cases and relevant supporting materials.
- Maintain a structured follow-up process for all active opportunities.
- Support Operating Platform Leadership and Corporate Business Development during commercial discussions and negotiations.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders throughout the opportunity development process.
- Remain engaged with the opportunity through contract execution and ensure an effective handover to the operating team.
Pipeline Management & Market Visibility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, contacts, stages and next actions in the designated CRM system.
- Prepare regular pipeline and business development reports, including activity, opportunity status, conversion and key next steps.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up across the entire business development pipeline.
- Support the development of BHS market visibility through industry networking, events, digital channels, case studies and other relevant initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing or a related field.
- Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, commercial development, hospitality technology, hotel advisory, hotel brokerage or a related field.
- Previous exposure to the hospitality industry is required.
- Experience in proactive business development, prospecting and opportunity generation is strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships with hotel owners, developers, investors or hospitality industry stakeholders would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of hotel commercial performance and basic hotel economics.
- Experience using CRM systems, LinkedIn and other digital research or business development tools.
- Fluent spoken and written English; Thai language capability is strongly preferred.
- Able and willing to travel regularly within Thailand.
Success Profile
The successful candidate will be a proactive and commercially minded hospitality professional with approximately 5–8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, commercial or related roles. The individual should have a strong hunter mentality, with the ability to identify new opportunities, reach key decision-makers and build credible relationships with hotel owners, developers, investors and industry partners. A good understanding of hotel business and commercial performance, combined with strong research, networking and follow-up skills, is essential. The ideal candidate is resourceful, entrepreneurial, digitally capable and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, with strong English communication skills and the ability to work independently in a results-driven environment.
