Job Overview

This role supports the growth and management of China-related business activities in Thailand, acting as a key bridge between local teams and Chinese clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

You will drive cross-border collaboration, support market expansion initiatives, and ensure smooth execution of client onboarding and ongoing partnerships. The role requires strong coordination across functions, an understanding of the China–Thailand business landscape, and the ability to navigate cultural and regulatory differences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnerships & Client Management

  • Support the identification, onboarding, and growth of Chinese clients entering the Thailand market
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with Chinese partners and clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Work closely with business development teams on proposals, presentations, and client engagement

2. Cross-Border Coordination

  • Act as the key point of contact for China-related initiatives across internal teams
  • Facilitate communication between Thailand teams, global stakeholders, and Chinese counterparts
  • Coordinate cross-border meetings, visits, and follow-ups, including translation support where needed

3. Market & Regulatory Insights

  • Monitor trends of Chinese businesses expanding into Thailand
  • Track regulatory developments (e.g. trade, data privacy, compliance) and industry landscape
  • Provide insights and updates to support internal decision-making

4. Strategic & Cultural Advisory

  • Advise internal teams on Chinese business culture, communication styles, and market nuances
  • Support leadership with insights on market opportunities, risks, and priorities
  • Contribute to internal enablement and knowledge sharing across teams

5. Execution & Performance Support

  • Support execution of China-related business initiatives in Thailand
  • Track and contribute to performance metrics (e.g. revenue targets, partnership outcomes)
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and operational setup for new clients

6. Ad Hoc Projects

  • Support additional cross-border initiatives, research, and internal projects as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or cross-border roles
  • Experience working with Chinese clients or stakeholders
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Fluent in English
  • Exposure to payments, fintech, or international business is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Good understanding of Thailand market dynamics and regulatory environment
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience in multinational or regional environments
  • Exposure to China–Southeast Asia business operations
