Job Summary
The Personal Banker (PB) at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is a client-facing role responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with individual customers. This position focuses on understanding customer financial needs, offering suitable banking products and services, and contributing to the branch's overall sales and service objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with existing and potential customers to identify their financial needs and goals.
- Educate customers on a comprehensive range of UOB products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, credit cards, investments, and insurance, providing tailored solutions.
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring adherence to all banking policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Develop and nurture long-term customer relationships, fostering loyalty and trust through consistent and excellent service.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for various banking products and services.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and explore further financial opportunities.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance standards.
- Participate in branch meetings, training programs, and sales campaigns to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialists within the bank to provide holistic financial advice to customers.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role within the banking or financial services industry (1-3 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of banking products and services, including retail deposits, loans, credit cards, and basic investment concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse individuals.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Thai and good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and banking systems.
