Job Description
Job Summary**
The Personal Banker at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with individual customers, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with all banking regulations.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of individual customer relationships, identifying their financial goals and offering appropriate UOB products and services (e.g., deposits, loans, investments, insurance).
- Conduct financial needs analysis with customers to understand their current financial situation and future aspirations.
- Proactively engage with customers through various channels (in-branch, phone, email) to deepen relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and all relevant banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC).
- Achieve individual and branch sales targets for various banking products and services.
- Participate in branch activities, campaigns, and initiatives to promote UOB's offerings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UOB's products, services, and market trends.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialists within the bank to provide comprehensive solutions to customers.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably as a Personal Banker or Sales Representative.
- Strong understanding of banking products and services (e.g., savings accounts, fixed deposits, credit cards, personal loans, investment products).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
- Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., investment consultant license) will be an advantage.
