The Role
As Plant Lead, you will own end-to-end performance of the plant — from production excellence and quality standards to people leadership and financial results. You will set strategic direction, build best-in-class manufacturing capabilities, and lead a high-performing team that delivers consistently for Thai Union's global business.
Reports to: AMEA / EU Plants Lead
What You'll Own
Strategic Leadership
- Translate Thai Union's corporate goals into actionable plant-level roadmaps and KPIs
- Provide inputs to budget planning and productivity strategies
- Align cross-functional teams — Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing
Best-in-Class Manufacturing
- Ensure production processes and parameters are strictly followed across all lines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve highest quality, on-time delivery, and lowest cost
- Oversee maintenance, planned overhauls, and production line set-up
Quality & Compliance
- Oversee QC of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods
- Support internal and external audits and quality issue resolution
- Ensure full compliance with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards and ISO requirements
S&OP & Logistics
- Provide inputs to supply planning and volume allocation
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries
- Coordinate with Global Ambient S&OP with timely and accurate plant data
People & Culture
- Lead, motivate, and challenge teams to exceed targets
- Build a strong internal leadership pipeline and succession plans
- Drive employee engagement into the top quartile
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and collaboration

- OTIF % (On-Time In-Full)
- RFT % (Right First Time)
- OE & OU % (Overall Efficiency & Utilization)
- Safety incident rate
- OPEX & CAPEX budget adherence
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in manufacturing / production leadership in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment
- Strong track record in continuous improvement and implementing new technologies on the plant floor
- Excellent communication skills — able to bridge technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership with demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams
- Cross-functional collaboration skills across Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Supply Chain
- Proficient in English (required)
- Willing to travel as required
