Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a PhD student or a Postdoc in Design and Development of High-Performance Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the laboratory, data analysis, and working closely with the academic supervisor and other team members.
Qualifications
- Laboratory Skills: experience in laboratory work, handling chemicals, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and following safety protocols
- Research: ability to conduct research independently and as part of a team, experience in designing and executing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research results in peer-reviewed journals
- Physics: strong understanding of physical principles related to electrochemical reactions
- Data Analysis: experience in using software tools and programming languages for data analysis and modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Mechanical Engineering or related field for Postdoc position. Master's degree in the same fields for PhD student position
- Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, redox flow batteries, electrochemical water splitting, fuel cells, and catalysis is a plus
