This Position reports to:

Local Business Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team to execute purchasing and logistics strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.


The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service (ELSE) division in Thailand. Main stakeholders are local and regional procurement teams, suppliers,logisticsservice providers, warehouse operations,serviceoperation,sales, and finance departments.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Executing purchasing andlogisticsstrategies to support the business byoptimizingcosts, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.

  • Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.

  • Supportin implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.

  • Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.

  • Managing end-to-endlogisticsoperations including inbound/outbound transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.

  • Coordinating customs clearance, import/export documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

  • Optimizinglogisticscosts through effective freight management, route planning, and carrier negotiations.

  • Implementing and monitoring procurement andlogisticsKPIs to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Managing relationships withlogisticsservice providers including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners.


Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in procurement strategies, supplier management,logisticsoperations, and supply chain optimization within the electrical equipment, industrial automation, or manufacturing market.

  • You have 5-8 years of experience in procurement andlogisticsmanagement, working in roles that involve supplier negotiations, inventory control, warehouse management, and transportation coordination.

  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • You are passionate about cost optimization, process improvement, and building strong supplier relationships, with excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • You are at ease communicating in English and Thai (both written and spoken).

  • Knowledge of Thai customs regulations and international trade compliance isadvantageous.
