Position: Procurement Specialist

Position Reports to: Associate Manager - Procurement

Department: Global Procurement

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Role Summary:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for finding quality goods and services at an acceptable price that meets the organization's needs.

This role will manage vendor development and a pool of suppliers for raw materials, including chemicals, packing materials and outsource suppliers for finished goods.

The successful candidate will also drive project governance, performance tracking, and continuous improvement within the procurement function.

This role ensures structured execution of initiatives, supports digital procurement transformation, and provides operational visibility to senior leadership.

CAPEX/Indirect Procurement, with experience in categories such as construction projects, machinery and equipment, logistics services, waste disposal, and other facilities-related procurement.

Direct Procurement, focused on raw material sourcing, with a manufacturing background and project management experience (e.g., BCP projects).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage dashboards for procurement KPIs and savings tracking
• Coordinate project timelines, resource alignment, and milestone reporting
• Support process documentation, SOP development, and policy updates
• Lead procurement tool adoption and digital transformation initiatives
• Facilitate procurement governance reviews and compliance audits

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute procurement-related projects
• Support the implementation and optimization of procurement systems
• Monitor the execution of sourcing pipeline and report on project status
• Document procurement processes and support change management initiatives
• Analyse operational data to recommend efficiency improvements
• Be actively involved in project management activities

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
• 2 – 7 years of experience in procurement operations
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
• Familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Coupa)
• Experience in digital procurement transformation or process design

Preferred:

• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
• candidates with sourcing experience in indirect categories such as transportation, warehousing, waste management, or shipping/clearing agents would be preferred.
