As a S
enior Procurement Specialist at Atotech Thailand, you will partner with Global Procurement Organization, Supply Chain Operations, Supplier Quality Assurance, and other cross functional teams to lead, align, and procurement activities in Thailand. In this role, you will report to the Regional Direct Procurement Manager, Asia Pacific.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities and manage chemical procurement spend in Thailand to ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and operational excellence.
- Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, contracting, and performance management across local and regional supply bases.
- Conduct RFQs, commercial evaluations, cost breakdown analysis, and contract negotiations to optimize pricing, payment terms, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Drive procurement productivity initiatives through supplier consolidation, logistics optimization, lead-time reduction, inventory optimization, and risk mitigation activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and global Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve transparency, service levels, and procurement efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues including shortages, delivery delays, quality concerns, and supply disruptions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain procurement documentation and reporting while supporting local business activities requiring up to 20% travel.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, including leading procurement projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven experience supporting manufacturing operations, driving cost reduction programs, and implementing supplier performance improvement initiatives. Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and familiarity with BW data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills within a matrix organization.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyze procurement data, KPIs, market trends, and supplier performance.

- Strong ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive alignment across cross-functional and matrix organizations.
- Experience leading supplier development and supply chain improvement initiatives, including consignment programs, lead-time reduction, and supply continuity enhancement.
- Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving capabilities, including shortage root-cause analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
