JOB PURPOSE
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the VP of Project Management by ensuring effective
project planning, sprint readiness, cross-functional coordination, and overall project delivery visibility. This
role is critical in ensuring on-time delivery, proper risk evaluation, resource utilization, and documentation
for development projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in sprint grooming and planning meetings.
- Review and confirm all tasks and user stories are documented, approved, and ready for implementation.
- Conduct weekly project health checks to detect and mitigate risks early.
- Prepare and submit project timeline and squad utilization reports.
- Monitor and track delivery status and escalate issues or blockers within expected timeframe.
- Ensure PRDs, FS, TS, and test result documentation are completed and accessible.
- Conduct risk impact analysis for new features or enhancements, especially for existing structures, and escalate concerns to the Software Architect or VP of Project Management.
- Support teams by proactively addressing obstacles, resource conflicts, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with BA, Product, QA, and Development to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements before sprint handoff.
- Maintain documentation hygiene and version control across squads.
- Drive continuous process improvement to enhance collaboration and efficiency across functions.
- Identify and implement improvements in workflows, communication, and delivery methods within and across teams.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in an agile or cross-functional software team environment.
- Proven experience delivering multiple software development projects on time.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and SDLC.
- Experience using project tracking tools such as Jira or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to run sprint ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in producing reports (timeline, utilization, health check) and presenting to C-level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in risk analysis and technical impact review.
- Background working with both mobile and web-based development teams.
- Familiarity with documentation practices (PRD, FS, TS, Test Results).
- Proactive, highly organized, with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
