1. Inquiry & Business Intelligence
- Act as the primary point of contact for gathering operational inquiries, pain points, and improvement opportunities from internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct structured interviews, surveys, and data analysis to map current-state transportation processes.
- Synthesise findings into clear business cases and transformation roadmaps to be presented to the COO.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in transport & logistics across the MENA region.
2. Project Coordination & Management
- Lead end-to-end project planning, scoping, scheduling, risk management, and delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestone trackers, RAID logs, and status dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Transportation (KA Team), Operation Support, Safety & Standard, Vehicle, Technology, and other teams including external partners.
- Facilitate working groups, steering committee meetings, and COO briefings; prepare concise executive-level reports.
- Ensure all deliverables are on time, within scope, and aligned to the strategic objectives set by the COO.
3. Process Transformation & Innovation
- Drive the design and implementation of new initiative project, operation process workflows, SOPs, and performance frameworks.
- Identify automation, digitalization, and technology integration opportunities to enhance fleet operations, route efficiency, and logistics visibility.
- Champion change management activities including stakeholder communication, training programs, and adoption tracking.
- Lead pilot programs and scale successful models across the organization.
4. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Define, track, and report on KPIs aligning Corporate Goal (MG) relevant to transportation efficiency, cost, safety, and service levels.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and embed improvements.
- Provide regular data-driven insights and recommendations to the COO to guide strategic decision-making.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams, government authorities, logistics partners, technology partners and vendors.
- Represent MENA Transport in external forums and industry working groups as required.
- Manage vendor and consultant engagements related to the transformation programme.
Qualifications & Requirements:
General Requirements
- Age between 32 - 40 years old.
Education
- Bachelor degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. (Required)
- Master's degree (MBA or related) in a relevant discipline is strongly preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or experience is highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in project management, transportation operations, or supply chain transformation.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder transformation or change management programmes.
- Direct experience in the transportation, logistics, or mobility sector within the MENA region is a significant advantage.
- Experience working closely with C-suite executives and presenting to senior leadership.
- Background in process redesign, operational excellence, or digital transformation is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong data analysis capabilities; experience with Power BI, Excel, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage.
