Job Title: Purchasing Manager (Automotive Tier-1)

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain operations. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure the seamless supply of production materials and equipment to maintain smooth manufacturing and sales processes. You will be responsible for driving business growth by mentoring a diverse supplier base and optimizing overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Leadership: Proactively plan, lead, and control sourcing and transportation activities across all Thailand sites to achieve assigned targets.

• Supplier Development: Manage supplier selection and development to meet business requirements and foster long-term partnerships.

• Operational Excellence: Oversight of Material Planning and Inventory Management functions, ensuring that supplier capacity supports Sales and Production Plans (PIC).

• Quality & Compliance: Adhere to APQP requirements and ensure linkages between Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plans.

• Cost Management: Initiate cost reduction programs involving existing suppliers, sub-contractors, and freight forwarding agents.

• Logistics & Customs: Manage import customs clearance for overseas shipments and improve supplier plant quality and logistics performance.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 8+ years of experience in Product/Process Engineering or Purchasing, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of APQP/PPAP, Cost Analysis, and Problem-Solving methodologies.
• Soft Skills: A proactive learner with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Language: Proficiency in both Thai and English.
