Job Description
As part of Network Infrastructure Supplier Quality Management Team, Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for component/product supplier quality management, supplier qualification, performance management as well as continuous improvements in partnership with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Define supplier quality strategy and set targets in alignment with the Strategic Sourcing, Network Infrastructure BG and other key Stakeholders.
- Plan, execute and follow up supplier audits in alignment with stakeholders.
- Drive Supplier Performance Evaluation and Supplier Performance Index (SPI) to meet agreed target.
- Lead Continuous Quality Improvement Project with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage major field/factory quality issues caused by suppliers, manage relevant MCARs and claims to suppliers.
- Support regional supplier base development in Asia region.
Key Skills And Experience
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing industry or relevant education.
- Solid quality knowledge and skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills to confidently engage supplier at all levels
- Able to solve problems in complex situation
- Highly self-motivated
- Working across boundaries
- Supplier sourcing and development experience
