Regional Sales Manager (200-250K)
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead business growth initiatives and lead sales performance across assigned territories. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, expanding business opportunities, managing portfolio performance, and ensuring sustainable growth in line with organizational objectives.
This role requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and a solid understanding of lending products, portfolio quality, and risk considerations within a Banking or Financial Services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth and achieve sales targets across assigned regions through effective territory planning and execution.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, intermediaries, and key stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, portfolio trends, market developments, and customer demand to identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure healthy portfolio growth while maintaining portfolio quality and compliance with internal policies and risk frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Credit, Marketing, Operations, Risk, and other internal stakeholders to support efficient business processes and customer experience.
- Conduct regular business reviews, performance assessments, and pipeline management activities within assigned territories.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Lead, coach, and support sales teams and business partners to maximize productivity and performance.
- Prepare and present business reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Area Sales Management, Regional Sales Management, Business Development, Relationship Management, or Channel Management within Banking, Financial Services, Lending, or related industries.
- Proven track record in managing business performance across multiple territories or regions.
- Strong understanding of Secured Lending, Asset Finance, Commercial Lending, Consumer Lending, or related financial products.
- Sound knowledge of portfolio management principles and risk considerations.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience from Banking, Financial Services, Secured Lending, Asset Finance, Commercial Lending, Consumer Lending, Relationship Management, Channel Management, or similar sectors are encouraged to apply.
