Job Summary
The Regional Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization for mechanical commodities and Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) across Thailand and the APAC region.
This role ensures long‑term quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and sustainability of direct material supply throughout the full product lifecycle, working closely with global procurement, engineering, quality, and supplier partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commodity sourcing strategy for Mechanical commodities and PCB across Thailand and the APAC region.
- Manage regional supplier selection, development, and performance to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
- Own the end‑to‑end sourcing process from RFQ through contract negotiation and signature.
- Develop and implement commodity and supplier strategies aligned with global procurement objectives.
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and senior supplier executives across Asia.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams on NPI, technical changes, and supplier improvements.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Gerber files, ensuring clear supplier requirements.
- Monitor market trends, technology developments, and supplier risks for mechanical and PCB commodities.
- Act as a key interface and escalation point for APAC suppliers, supporting global and cross‑regional sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands ‑ on experience with mechanical commodities (sheet metal, machining, plastics, casting) and/or PCB sourcing or manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, cost structures, and Asian supply markets.
- Proven experience in RFQ management, commercial negotiation, and contract administration.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Gerber files.
- Knowledge of industry standards (IPC, RoHS, UL, TS16949, VDA) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent English communication skills and willingness to travel internationally.
