As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our sales team in our Pathumthani, Thailand office, which serves as our APAC hub.
Role Description
The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales activities, managing the opportunity pipeline, and supporting customers throughout the pre-sales cycle. This includes identifying new business, conducting technical presentations and demonstrations, and working closely with distributors and internal teams to ensure successful project handover.
The position covers the APAC region (excluding China and Japan) and Oceania, with frequent travel required to visit customers, support distributors, and participate in exhibitions and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales pipeline and execute sales strategies to meet targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across APAC and Oceania.
- Analyze market trends and customer requirements to recommend suitable solutions.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and present system capabilities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Support and train distributors; monitor their performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure smooth handover to service and application teams after order placement.
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in Thailand.
- Experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or pre-sales support.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Background in electronics, semiconductors, or manufacturing equipment is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Native or Bilingual in Thai
- Professional in English, as it is the main working language and must be used confidently with customers and internal teams.
- Valid driving license and access to a car for customer visits.
