The organization is currently modernizing its commercial operations, expanding its distribution footprint, and strengthening its category presence across Thailand.
They're looking for aSales Manager (Traditional Trade) who will drive nationwide sales performance, strengthen distributor partnerships, and elevate channel execution within the Traditional Trade (TT) market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and has a passion for developing high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities
Sales & Growth
- Lead sales execution within TT channels to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Develop and own channel sales plans that expand market penetration and grow share.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance and apply corrective actions when needed.
Distributor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with distributors and wholesalers across regions.
- Conduct joint business planning, quarterly reviews, and performance tracking.
- Ensure optimal product availability, coverage, and distribution efficiency.
Channel & Trade Strategy
- Execute channel programs including pricing, promotions, and merchandising.
- Improve product visibility and brand presence in TT outlets.
- Identify new opportunities for regional expansion and competitive advantage.
Team Leadership
- Lead and coach regional supervisors and field sales teams.
- Conduct market visits, provide feedback, and strengthen execution standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Insights
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
- Use data to refine strategies and improve field performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 58 years experience in FMCG Traditional Trade sales.
- Strong distributor management background.
- Proven team leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically.
